UA departments and organizations are encouraged to use the UA Student Jobsite to post all part time undergraduate and graduate student employment opportunities. Posting available student jobs online at the centralized site not only makes the job search process easier, but also provides equal opportunity for all qualified UA students to apply to a variety of on-campus job opportunities.
Using the online system also provides a number of advantages for UA hiring managers: student job postings can easily be tailored to recruit for specific required skills and other departmental needs, and a variety of online tools can assist in tracking, sorting and reviewing applications. The Human Resources Office of Student Employment Jobsite is also able to advertise open jobs quickly and efficiently to a recruit a broad and diverse applicant pool, enabling hiring managers to select and hire the best student employees.
Request a Hiring Manager User Account for On-Campus Student Jobs
UA faculty and staff may request a user account to gain access to the Student Employment jobsite by contacting the Human Resources Office of Student Employment.
To request a user account or for additional assistance with student job descriptions, creating an online job posting, or general questions about hiring students for part-time employment at UA, please contact the Human Resources Office of Student Employment at email@example.com.
Once the hiring manager account request has been approved, University employees can log in at jobs.ua.edu/hr.
The Human Resources Office of Student Employment works with community partners to post part-time job opportunities for students, including jobs from local businesses and organizations in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas. Off-Campus employers that post part-time jobs on the UA Student Jobsite are able to reach thousands of talented UA students who are looking for opportunities to finance their education and gain real-world experience while pursuing their academic goals.
The UA Student Jobsite is a free service available to select off-campus employers. All job posting requests will go through a review/approval process prior to posting.
